This walk to Qornet El Mzaar the highest summit of Jabal Moussa that shelters ruins of a Roman temple and amazing 360⁰ view on the diverse landscapes surrounding Jabal Moussa; a true mix of nature and culture. It represents a true journey in time. You’ll learn how our grandfathers managed to survive on isolated land and discover the marks our ancestors left on the mountain’s steep slopes... A walk through open and dense mixed forest, where karstic landscapes of the mountain summit can be admired.�📆Date: Sunday 11/02/2024 📌Destination: Keserwan District⚡️Hike Level: Moderate 🚩 Walking distance: 8km. 🕗 Walking time: 4 hours. 🌯 Breakfast: Manakish from Saida eating in the bus. ☕️ Quick coffee stop on the way.

We’ve decided on FOREVER 💍♾️💫

BQAATOUTA 🤩 new destination to explore its hidden gems. Our adventure will include some challenges; we will be hiking a narrow wild trail, walk along a water canal. We will also cross the Assi river, climb old green ladders set up to maintain the water canals, pass under/behind a marvelous waterfall, explore a hidden cave, swim and climb a waterfall (optional) and sit over a high cliff overlooking the beautiful scenery of the valley. The trail and scenery are not to be missed.

We will have enough time for your already packed lunch, a swim (optional but recommended) and some really cool photos.

Douma is a Lebanese village located at an altitude of 1150 m. It is 80 km from Beirut, 30 km from Jbeil. Douma is a part of Batroun district and is known for its special location in a valley surrounded by mountains. Almost all its houses are made of red bricks. It enjoys a unique temperate climate.
During the Greek and Roman eras, it witnessed a prosperous period accompanied by the construction of many places of worship.
