"โบวิลักษณ์" ฮีโร่เปตองแห่ง สปป.ลาว🇱🇦 และเหรียญทอง🥇แรกของชาติในซีเกมส์2025
ท่ามกลางความเข้มข้นของการแข่งขันในหลายชนิดกีฬา เมื่อวานนี้ ชาติชั้นนำต่างกวาดเหรียญทองกันอย่างดุเดือด
แต่ที่สนามเปตอง มหาวิทยาลัยราชภัฏวไลยอลงกรณ์ จ.ปทุมธานี บรรยากาศกลับเต็มไปด้วยความคาดหวังของแฟนกีฬา สปป.ลาว🇱🇦 ที่รอคอย “เหรียญทองแรก” ของพวกเขา
และเปตอง… คือกีฬาที่สร้างชื่อให้ลาวมาโดยตลอด และปีนี้ก็เช่นกัน เมื่อนักกีฬาเปตองลาวผ่านเข้าชิงถึง 2 คน
หนึ่งในนั้นคือ “กิบซี่ โบวิลักษ์ เทพพะกัน” วัย 30 ปี นักกีฬาที่ได้รับการยกย่องว่าเป็นนักกีฬาเปตองที่ดีที่สุดของ สปป.ลาว 🇱🇦 เจ้าของดีกรีรองแชมป์โลกเดี่ยวหญิง 2 สมัย และเคยคว้าเหรียญทองซีเกมส์ปี 2013 ที่เมียนมาร์ รวมถึงถูกยกให้เป็นหนึ่งในนักกีฬาที่น่าจับตาที่สุดโดย The Straits Times ของสิงคโปร์
ในรอบชิงชนะเลิศ เดี่ยวหญิง เธอต้องดวลกับ ศิริรัตน์ ไกรเทพ (หงษ์ ภูเก็ต) นักเปตองดาวรุ่งของไทย 🇹🇭 ท่ามกลางเสียงเชียร์ที่แน่นขนัดของเจ้าภาพ
แต่ด้วยความนิ่ง มั่นใจ และประสบการณ์ระดับโลก โบวิลักษ์ไม่ทำให้แฟนลาวผิดหวัง ก่อนเฉือนชนะไปอย่างสุดมันส์ 13–11 คว้าเหรียญทอง🥇แรกให้ลาวในซีเกมส์ครั้งนี้ได้สำเร็จ
นอกจากนี้ ลาวยังได้อีกหนึ่งเหรียญเงิน🥈จากประเภทเดี่ยวชาย สร้างความภูมิใจให้กับชาวลาวทั่วประเทศอีกครั้ง
ความสำเร็จครั้งนี้สะท้อนถึงความรักและความทุ่มเทที่ สปป.ลาวมีต่อกีฬาเปตอง ซึ่งเคยไปถึงระดับ🏆แชมป์โลกประเภททีมหญิง 3 คนในปี 2019 และยังเป็นพลังที่ปลุกกระแสกีฬาในประเทศให้เติบโตอย่างต่อเนื่อง
และวันนี้ โบวิลักษ์ เทพพะกัน ไม่ได้เป็นเพียงฮีโร่เหรียญทองซีเกมส์ของ สปป.ลาว🇱🇦 เท่านั้น แต่เธอได้กลายเป็นแรงบันดาลใจของเยาวชนคนรุ่นใหม่ ที่จะก้าวเดินตาม เพื่อประสบความสำเร็จแบบเธอให้ได้ในสักวัน

“Bovilak” — Laos’ Petanque Hero 🇱🇦 Claims the Nation’s First Gold Medal 🥇 at the 2025 SEA Games
Amid the intensity of competition across various sports yesterday—where top nations were collecting gold medals at a rapid pace—the atmosphere at the Petanque venue of Valaya Alongkorn Rajabhat University in Pathum Thani felt entirely different.
There, fans from Laos 🇱🇦 were filled with hope and anticipation, waiting for what they believed could be their nation’s first gold medal of the Games. Petanque has long been one of Laos’ strongest sports, and this year proved no exception as two Laotian athletes reached the finals.
Among them was “Gipsy” Bovilak Thepphakan, 30, widely regarded as Laos’ best petanque player. She is a two-time World Championship silver medalist in the women’s singles, a SEA Games gold medalist in 2013, and was listed as one of the “athletes to watch” by The Straits Times of Singapore.
In the women’s singles final, Bovilak faced Thailand’s rising star Sirirat Kraitep (Hong Phuket) 🇹🇭, competing in front of a packed home crowd. But with composure, confidence, and world-class experience, Bovilak delivered brilliantly—claiming a thrilling 13–11 victory and securing Laos’ first gold medal 🥇 of the 2025 SEA Games.
Laos added even more celebration with a silver medal 🥈 in the men’s singles, further fueling national pride.
This achievement highlights the deep passion and dedication that Laos has long invested in petanque—a sport in which they famously became Women’s Triples World Champions in 2019, helping spark widespread enthusiasm throughout the country.
Today, Bovilak Thepphakan is more than just Laos’ newest SEA Games champion. She has become a powerful inspiration for the younger generation—proof that with hard work and determination, they too can rise to greatness.
