The most toxic trait a golfer can possibly have: 📉💀

Hitting an absolute dart into the green, only to be told "you're still away" by the random single in your group.

Absolutely ruthless behavior. 🏆

Respect the unspoken rules of the green, people.

Is this an automatic gimme in your group? Yes or No? Settle the debate below!

I'VE CHANGED HOW FAR I STAND FROM THE GOLF BALL AND THE DIFFERENCE IS HUGE!

I have changed how far i stand from the golf ball & the difference is huge! I have stopped hitting the heel or finding the toe of the golf club with my driver and irons & starting to hit the centre of the golf club face around 90% of the time!

The worlds of my Mid handicap golfer john, i was so excited to share this with you today because you can take this straight to the range and see that instant difference to your strike.

Alex Elliott Golf shows you a simple golf technique that will allow you to reduce your slice on the golf ball and start to lower your scores!

Keep control of the simple things in the golf swing and together we can get the correct distance from the golf ball in the golf swing swing stance! achieve the correct stance with driver, the correct set up for your irons and start to Break 100, break 90 , break 80 or even break 75!! find the correct distance from the golf ball.

Missing Too Many Putts? Make The Hole Smaller. ⛳

Most golfers think they need to make putting practice easier to build confidence.

It’s actually the opposite.

If you’re missing too many putts inside 6 feet, struggling with distance control, three-putting too often, or watching good rounds disappear on the greens, this simple putting drill can help.

Take two tees and place them just wider than a golf ball at the entrance of the hole.

Start from 4 feet.

✅ Make 5 putts in a row → move back 1 foot

❌ Miss one → start again

Why does it work?

Because putting isn’t just about reading greens.

It’s about starting the ball on your intended line.

By making the entrance smaller, you’re forced to improve:
• Face control at impact
• Start line accuracy
• Putting stroke consistency
• Focus under pressure
• Confidence over short putts

The crazy part?

When you remove the tees and stand over a normal hole on the golf course, the cup suddenly looks massive.

That’s why elite golfers often make practice harder than the real thing.

Train harder.
Play easier.

60% of golf shots happen inside 100 yards.

Most golfers only know one pitch shot.

Here are the 5 you need to save par:

Full-Swing Pitch → high carry, soft landing
3/4 Punch Pitch → low spin, controlled bounce
Bump-and-Run → lands short, releases to the pin
Spinner Pitch → checks up fast, perfect for tight pins
Flop Pitch → max height, near-zero roll

Add all 5 to your game and stop leaving shots out there.

A lot of golfers overlook this, but setting your tee at the wrong height can ruin your shot before you even start your backswing.

Use this quick cheat sheet to get it right every time: 👇👇👇

1️⃣ Driver: Position the ball so exactly half of it sits above the top edge of the clubface.

2️⃣ Fairway Woods: Aim to have about one-third of the ball visible above the crown.

3️⃣ Hybrids: Keep it incredibly low—just barely hovering off the grass.

4️⃣ Irons: Hovering isn't needed here; the ball should be practically level with the turf.

The Real Secret to Scratch Putting
Think scratch golfers are sinking impossible, long birdies all day? Think again. The real difference is that they almost never 3-putt.

When you look at the data, a 25-handicap only takes about 6 more putts per round than a scratch player.

That gap isn't about chasing perfection on 20-footers; it is entirely about mastering your lag putting and distance control from 30+ feet out.

If you want to shave strokes off your scorecard, stop stressing over making the putt and start focusing on controlling your speed.

⛳😂 Golf isn't just about birdies and pars—it's also about the unforgettable moments that make every round memorable!

This joke perfectly captures one of the lighter sides of golf. While money can buy clubs, balls, and green fees, sometimes it's the friendly smile, great service, and positive energy from the beverage cart that brightens the day. A cheerful cart girl can lift spirits, keep players refreshed, and add a little fun to every round on the course.

Remember, golf is about enjoying the game, respecting everyone on the course, and creating great memories with friends. Keep smiling, play with good sportsmanship, and never forget to thank the people who help make your day even better.

Who else can relate? 😄⛳🍻

⛳ Master Your Golf Stance: The Right Distance for Every Shot

One of the biggest differences between consistent golfers and those who struggle with accuracy is having the correct setup before the swing even begins. As shown in this guide, your stance width should change depending on the type of shot you are about to play. A proper setup creates better balance, improves power transfer, and helps you make cleaner contact with the golf ball.

🏌️ Driver (Green): Use the widest stance. A stable base allows you to generate maximum clubhead speed while maintaining balance throughout the swing. This helps produce longer, straighter drives off the tee.

💜 Full Swing (Purple): Stand slightly narrower than your driver stance. This position allows your body to rotate freely while maintaining excellent stability and rhythm for full iron shots.

❤️ Half Swing (Red): Your feet should be approximately shoulder-width apart. This setup gives you better control over distance and accuracy, making it ideal for approach shots where precision matters more than power.

🤍 Pitch (White): Narrow your stance even more. A smaller base helps reduce unnecessary body movement, allowing for cleaner contact and improved distance control around the green.

🖤 Chip (Black): Use the narrowest stance. Keeping your feet close together promotes stability and encourages the shoulders to control the motion, leading to crisp, consistent chip shots.

Remember, great golf starts before the club even moves. Every professional spends time perfecting their setup because good fundamentals create repeatable swings. Practice each stance until it feels natural, and you'll notice improved consistency, better ball striking, and increased confidence on the course.

Small adjustments in your feet can make a huge difference in your score. Build strong habits, trust your setup, and enjoy watching your game improve one shot at a time.

The ball’s lie dictates your next move—but too many players choose to ignore it 👀

Fluffy rough: Use a shallow, sweeping swing and club down to a lower loft. Be ready for a hot flyer that rolls out extra.

1️⃣ Buried lie: Take a steep angle and chop down hard. The ball will launch low with zero spin, so make sure to aim short of your target.

2️⃣ Uphill lie: Tilt your shoulders to match the slope, grab one extra club, and swing along the contour of the hill rather than into it.

3️⃣ Downhill lie: Add loft to compensate for the slope, stay low through impact, and expect the ball to run more once it hits the ground.

If you don't adjust your setup to match the lie, you are practically writing a double bogey on your scorecard before you even take a swing.

Which of these four situations messes with your game the most? Let me know in the comments 👇
