Synergy Lens Feedback Model
As freestyle football evolves, so must the tools we use to understand, evaluate, and elevate it.
The Flair20 Synthesis™ Freestyle Evaluation System offers a robust foundation—scoring performance across three core pillars: Difficulty, Ex*****on, and Artistry.
But scoring alone is not enough. To truly nurture progression, we need clarity of feedback and a shared language for growth.
This is where the Synergy Lens Feedback Model enters the frame.
The Synergy Lens bridges the gap between what is performed and why it resonates, by offering a qualitative feedback layer that captures the deeper interactions within a performance. Rather than reducing freestyle to isolated tricks or categories, it reveals the dynamic relationships that drive artistry, flow, and innovation, illuminating the invisible threads binding technique, control, expression, and vision.
The model is built on four foundational synergy pairs:
1. Conceptual Complexity (Technique × Vision)
2. Precision Dynamics (Technique × Control)
3. Dynamic Elegance (Control × Expression)
4. Creative Identity (Expression × Vision)
These synergy pairs serve as interpretive filters, enabling judges, coaches, and athletes to articulate what makes a performance exceptional or in need of refinement. They provide a vocabulary for feedback that is more formative, specific, and development-focused.
This model is designed to co-exist with Flair20 Synthesis™, enriching it with a second layer of insight that supports artistic development as much as competitive precision. It invites judges to not only reward what they see, but to engage with how the performer thinks, feels, and constructs meaning through movement.
By standardising the language around synergy and making the invisible visible, the Synergy Lens becomes a cultural and educational asset. It anchors freestyle football in a more holistic framework of understanding. It is a feedback tool, a coaching scaffold, and a mirror through which every freestyler can better understand their own evolving craft.
