BOEUNG KET FOOTBALL CLUB

Boeung Ket Football Club previously known as Boeung Ket Rubber Field was established in 2008. Club promoted to division A2 and won the champions in 2010 then promoted to division A1 and finished runner-up in 2011 and won the promotion to Cambodian Premier League 2012. In 2012, Boeung Ket made history in Cambodian football when they became the first promoted club ever to w

in topflight title on the debut season while coach and players collecting 5 individual awards such as Best Player Award, Best Goal Keeper Award, Best Coach Award and Top scorer Award. In the season 2013 and 2014 club finished in Runner up of Cambodian Premier League And season 2015 club got the third place but Boeung Ket Angkor have never finished the league lower than third place since joining Cambodian Premier League. In 2015 Boeung Ket finished the regular round on top of the league and gained its first invitation to Toyota Mekong Club Championship where they went on to the final before losing 1-0 to Buriram United. However, Boeung Ket missed on the local title as they ended up with third place in Cambodian League's top-4 play-off that season. In 2016, Boeung Ket claimed second Cambodian League title in their history after snatching 2-1 win over National Police Commissary FC on the season-closing day. CLUB ACHEIVEMENTS

πŸŽ‰ Congratulations to Phnom Penh Capital City, Kingdom of Cambodia, recipient of the β€œSafe, Active and Health-enabling Transport: Advancing Health and Reducing Inequities in Urban Mobility” award.

Phnom Penh’s Safe School Zone Project combines road safety data, infrastructure improvements, 30 km/h speed management, enforcement, education and community engagement around high-risk schools. At the two intervention schools, conditions improved from 1-star ratings to 4.2 and 3.5 stars, with lower vehicle speeds, training for 500 students and a reported 58% reduction in self-reported crashes.

The 2026 WHO Healthy Cities Recognition Awards will be presented at the 11th Global Conference of the Alliance for Healthy Cities in Sydney, Australia, 1–3 September 2026.
