During the meeting, the Ambassador commended Salient Sports Management for the outstanding logistical,commercial and operational support extended to Somalia’s Mogadishu City FC and Dekadaha FC during their participation in the preliminary rounds of the CAF Champions League and CAF Confederation Cup in Nairobi.

The first CAF Inter Clubs event of the season played on Kenyan soil pitted Mogadishu City FC of Somalia against Police FC of Kenya.

It was a display of sportsmanship, brotherhood and friendship between Kenyans and Somalis. The fans painted Nyayo stadium with colourful displays of songs, flags and attire.
