Last week was yet another unforgettable day for Watamu Sports Academy U17 — a day that reminded us why we started this journey. ❤️⚽
Our boys produced a magnificent performance against PEFA Seniors FC, securing a stunning 12–1 victory. Beyond the scoreline, what touched us most was the confidence, discipline, teamwork and beautiful possession of the ball displayed by these young talents. It was a clear sign that the hard work, patience and commitment behind the scenes are beginning to bear fruit.
Every pass, every goal and every moment on that pitch told a story — the story of young boys who believe that football can change their lives. 🌟
Under the stewardship of Alex Apollo, Watamu Sports Academy is steadily becoming more than just a football team. It is growing into a centre for nurturing and developing young talents in Watamu and Kilifi County, giving children an opportunity to discover their abilities, build discipline and dream of a brighter future through sport.
The competition is getting tougher, and the boys know that only the best will earn a place in our 24-man squad, which we are hoping will travel to Nairobi in December. That dream is now driving them to work harder, stay disciplined and believe in themselves.
From a small community football dream to a growing family of young talents, the journey continues. We may not have everything yet, but we have talent, determination, unity and a dream.
Watamu is rising. Kilifi is rising. The future stars are here. 🌍⚽🔥
