I stuffed up...

Last week I created a Pleasure Menu. A simple entree, main, dessert, tapas style connection menu for couples.

It was a free download on my website. And it was good, but honestly... it was a bit generic and not really me.

On Saturday night, my husband and I decided to use it.
It was great, it was helpful and we had a lovely time, but I had a thought while we were in and amongst it....
Im in my inner spring, I really feel like....

And then it hit me.

I created the wrong pleasure menu.

Because ALL of my work is based around cycles and seasons.
Its how I make sense of everything and everyone.

Therefore, my pleasure menu should be the same!

But not only that, I realised I was only targeting people in relationships. The original pleasure menu was for couples, it didnt offer alternatives for individuals.

So... I spent the entire weekend working on not one, but two new seasonal pleasure menus -- FREE for you to download and print off and use over and over to create more intimacy and connection with yourself and with another.

For those of you who don't know, Ive been writing on Substack for about 18 months now. Im not shadow banned over there, I can write without restriction, and I love that I can write to an audience who truly values what I have to say.

Its a beautiful space, filled with real words, real writers, and incredible pieces of literature.

If you love words as much as I do, you may find yourself loving it in that space.

It is slower over there. You dont get the instant dopamine hit you get from doom scrolling and watching reel after reel. Something we've become accustomed to.

But when you read a piece that speaks to your soul...
When you see yourself in the words and can relate to the story...
When you escape because the story pulls you in and you feel a part of it...

Well, that's not something I get here on this platform or others like it.

Come hang out where the words are. Its where all the cool (weird) people are now.

Marriage has seasons.
Not just the honeymoon…
but the messy middle, the quiet distance, the moments where things feel a little off.
