Yesterday, on the 16th August 2026 marked our 2nd Edition Annual Tournament final games.
A statement of "sports bring us together-transcending boundaries as a community", was boldly written at Hono Sec. School ground.

Appreciations to the sponsor of the tournament Ko'mudho Foundation under patronage of Pius Omudho, our chief guest Prince Indah together with his spouse, FKF Siaya county branch, the referees who officiated the matches throughout the tournament, all the guests who found time to grace the occasion, and all the North Alego community who came to cheer out the teams.
We equally appreciate the facilitative role the tournament played in the engagements among youth and the community at-large.

Congratulations to the boys and girls teams who reached the finals. Ndere Youth Stars FC for Boys, Kowet Ladies for girls and Olwa Ladies for Netball were the champions of KOMFAT 2nd Edition.

We are glad to support an initiative that purposely promotes youth and women empowerment. Sports also have the power to transform lives and break down barriers.

By participating in football tournaments, the youth and women are building confidence, developing resilience, and learning valuable life skills like teamwork and leadership.

Ladies and gentlemen, it is my pleasure to grace and honor Ko'mudho Foundation Annual Tournament(KOMFAT) finals games at Hono Secondary School in North Alego tomorrow. See you there!
