🌿 FAREWELL STATEMENT — ARIZEN COMMUNITY SERVICE JOURNEY.
After sixteen years of dedicated community service, I have officially decided to step back from active community leadership and fully focus on the next phase of my personal journey.
Serving the children and youth of Mukuru Kwa Reuben through sport has been one of the greatest honors of my life.
Through Arizen Community-Based Sports Organization, we used football not just as a game, but as a tool for hope, discipline, education, rights awareness, and social transformation.
Together, we created opportunities where there were none, supported vulnerable children into education, promoted gender inclusion, and built safe spaces in a challenging environment.
This journey has shaped me deeply teaching me leadership, resilience, humility, patience, and the power of community.
It also came with real sacrifices: financial strain, volunteer fatigue, operational challenges, and personal burnout.
Despite these realities, I am proud of what we achieved with limited resources and unlimited heart.
I am grateful to every child who trusted the program, every parent who believed in the vision, every volunteer, coach, partner, school, and well-wisher who walked this journey with me.
Your support gave meaning to the mission.
As I transition into a new personal chapter, I carry forward the lessons, relationships, and purpose built through this work.
This is not the end of service, it is a redirection toward sustainability, growth, and renewed impact in different forms.
Thank you for being part of this journey.
With gratitude and respect,
Peter Maina Mwangi
