A Camera Can Change a Life

Today we officially launched Goals for Inclusion — the Center for Sports and Growth community league bringing refugees and host community youth together on the same team. ⚽

Watching refugee and local kids play side by side, solve challenges on the field, and celebrate as one team was powerful.

One lesson stood out: when children play together, the divisions that often separate their families become harder to sustain. It’s difficult to hate the family of the teammate who is passing the ball to your own child.

Sport continues to prove that it can build bridges where words sometimes fail.

The Center for Sports and Growth (CSG) is proud to officially launch our Community Football League for both boys and girls here in the Mathare community.

Through this league, we are creating safe and inclusive spaces where young people can play, grow, and learn valuable life skills. Football is more than just a game—it is a powerful tool that helps us promote teamwork, discipline, leadership, and positive social change.

Every weekend, hundreds of young players will come together to compete, build friendships, and stay actively engaged in activities that keep them away from crime and drug abuse while inspiring them to dream bigger.

Together, we are nurturing the next generation of leaders—both on and off the pitch.
