After 811 days away from football, Paul Pogba finally stepped back onto a pitch — and honestly, it hit different seeing him back where he belongs.

His last appearance before today was all the way back on the 3rd of September, 2023.

Two years of setbacks, doubts, recovery, noise, and uncertainty… but he still found his way back. That alone is a win.

He made his first appearance for Monaco in their 4–1 defeat to Rennes. The result wasn’t great, but Pogba didn’t let it kill the moment.

He came on, looked relaxed, soaked up the atmosphere and walked off with a smile that said everything.

After everything he’s been through, just touching the ball again must have felt like freedom.

People forget how tough the last two years have been for him, injuries, the doping case, the suspension, the media pressure, yet here he is, starting a new chapter in a new league with a fresh chance to prove himself.

It wasn’t the fairytale return. It wasn’t the perfect performance. But it was Pogba, back on a pitch, wearing a shirt, hearing fans react, playing again.

And after 811 days, that’s all that mattered.

The rest will come with time. Welcome back Paul Labile Pogba. ❤️💪
