Today marks International Day of Persons with Disabilities, a day that holds great significance for the Kenya women's national amputee football team, which was founded on this day in 2023. As we honor this day for individuals with disabilities, we also celebrate a remarkable milestone for our team. Our recent participation in the first-ever women's amputee football world cup in Colombia was a surreal experience, as we proudly represented Kenya and the African continent. Our outstanding performance earned us a fourth-place finish, exceeding our expectations. We attribute this achievement to our dedication and divine providence. As 2024 comes to a close, we reflect on the year's accomplishments, and we eagerly anticipate the opportunities and challenges that the new year will bring for our team and the advancement of women's amputee football worldwide.

We've made history! Our Kenyan Amputee Starlets secured 4th place at the inaugural Women's World Cup, exceeding expectations just a year after launching women's amputee football in Kenya🇰🇪.

Grateful for our supporters' unwavering encouragement on social media. We also would like to thank the CS Sports Onesimus Kipchumba Murkomen and the Ministry of Youth Affairs, Creative Economy and Sports' invaluable support.
