PRESS STATEMENT

APOLOGY FROM DONALD OWITI

Following today’s encounter against Team Swara, Rooftop Sports Club player Donald Owiti has issued an apology to his teammates, supporters and the entire Rooftop Family following two costly mistakes during the match.

In his statement, Donald said:

“Guys, poleni joh! Wallahi, hii imekuwa mchezo tupu, sitarudia tena. Lakini makosa nilifanya ni kwamba siku-Sleep on the Chair jana usiku. Niliperform Pythagoras Theorem, na ndio maana imeniletea Swara.”

Donald has taken responsibility for his performance and has assured the team that he will learn from the mistakes and return stronger.

The Rooftop Family appreciates the apology and remains united as we continue to support our players.

The Chief Executive Officer of Rooftop Sports Club, Hon. James Masese Mokua (King Masese), has expressed confidence in the team ahead of tomorrow’s competitive fixture against Team Swara.

In his remarks, the CEO stated:

Rooftop Sports Club proudly welcomes back Kelvin Kiplimo Kirwa, following his return from Israel and Egypt, where he undertook specialized studies in Protocol and Security, further enhancing his professional expertise and capacity.

The Club recognizes this important milestone and commends Kelvin for his commitment to continuous learning, professional development and excellence.

Following his return, Kelvin will be available for consideration by the technical team ahead of Rooftop Sports Club’s competitive fixture against Team Swara this Sunday at ABSA Grounds, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 PM.

The Club recognizes this significant milestone in Kenneth’s life and commends him for his commitment, discipline and dedication throughout his training.

Rooftop Sports Club is pleased to announce its return to competitive football following a period of reflection, soul-searching and strategic meditation.

The Club will resume action this Sunday with a match against Team Swara at ABSA Grounds, with kick-off scheduled for 2:00 PM.

We invite all our members, stakeholders, partners and supporters to turn up in large numbers and stand with the team as we make our return to the pitch.

This marks a new chapter for Rooftop Sports Club renewed, united and focused on our shared values of teamwork, discipline, talent development and community impact.
