If you're a Manchester United fan judging Lamens purely on clean sheets and goals conceded, then you still don't get it, and you've got a long way to go, I won’t lie.

Look at the goals we conceded yesterday: a penalty and an absolute worldie. Name one goalkeeper you're genuinely confident would save either of those.

We're talking about a young keeper who, since arriving, has barely made any errors leading to goals and consistently does the basics right. We've had goalkeepers before who couldn't save routine shots, flapped at crosses, and made silly mistakes week in, week out.

I trust Lamens. Give him a well-organized, solid defence in front of him and you’re looking at the next big thing.
