Several households near Astrol Petrol Station, Githogoro, will spend the night without shelter after a devastating fire destroyed their homes.
The cause of the fire is still unknown, and authorities are yet to determine what started it.

The people of Githogoro are tired of empty promises from political leaders. Every election season, leaders come to our community asking for votes, making promises of better housing, jobs, security, clean water, and opportunities for young people. Once elected, many disappear for years and only return when the next election approaches.
Our community deserves more than campaign speeches. We need leaders who listen, engage with residents regularly, and work together with the people to solve the challenges affecting Githogoro. Development, accountability, and service should not happen only during election periods.
The people of Githogoro want action, not promises. We want leaders who stand with us every day, not only when they need our votes.
