🌊🚴 MIDA CREEK ADVENTURE — EXPRESSION OF INTEREST

26–27 SEPTEMBER 2026

Nyali Cycling Club is taking the adventure beyond the usual weekend ride! 🌴🚴‍♂️

Join us for a 2-day coastal cycling adventure from Mombasa to Mida Creek, with an overnight stay at Mida Creek Nature Camp.

🌿 WHAT'S IN STORE?

🚴 Mombasa → Mida Creek
🌱 Explore the mangrove boardwalk
🛶 Guided canoe experience through the mangroves
🍽️ Coastal lunch
🚿 Shower & freshen up after the ride
🔥 Bonfire & social evening
🛏️ Overnight at Mida Creek Nature Camp
🌅 Early breakfast
🚴 Ride back to Mombasa on Sunday

The trip will also give us an opportunity to experience and support the local Mida Creek conservation community.

We're initially targeting 15–25 riders.

We are currently finalising the support vehicle, route and other logistics before announcing the final cost per rider.

⛰️ MISSION: KWALE HILLS – ROUND 2! 🚴🏾‍♀️🔥

Last Saturday, our mission to conquer the hills of Kwale County was cut short when one of our riders suffered a mechanical issue.

At Nyali Cycling Club, that's never the end of the story.

We don't leave anyone behind. We turned back together, and this Saturday, we ride again—together.

🚴🏾‍♂️🔥 THIS SATURDAY, WE RIDE INTO THE HILLS OF KWALE! ⛰️🌴

The coast is beautiful… but this Saturday, we head inland! 😎

We meet at Likoni Ferry Crossing at 6:05 AM, cross over and regroup at Basic Likoni. Our friends from Diani will meet us at Kombani, and together we head towards the hills of Kwale County.

Expect beautiful roads, big smiles, good company, and a little bit of suffering… because we suffer pamoja! 😜🔥

Celebrate the Start of the 2026 Tour de France with Nyali Cycling Club! 🚴🇫🇷
Join us for our annual Tour de France Kick-Off Ride as we head to Diani for coffee, brunch, and great cycling company.
📅 Saturday, 4 July 2026
⏰ Departure: 6:05 AM sharp
📍 Meet-up: Likoni Ferry Crossing
☕ Coffee Stop: Coast Dishes, Diani
We'll ride at a comfortable 20–25 km/h, regroup along the way, and ensure no one is left behind.
Bring your bike, helmet, hydration, and your best cycling spirit. Let's celebrate the world's biggest cycling race together!

Every wheel that crossed that finish line today has a story✨

Huge congrats to Areef, Bram and Amin for topping the men’s podium🎖️ and Damaris, Susan and Brenda for topping the women’s podium🎖️.

Our own Susan Wangui from Nyali cycling was the second in the women’s category👏🏾

Thank you for Charles, Eli and Lara for representing the club it was a win for the whole crew and A-Riders for organizing the race💯

One city on the move. World Bicycle Day was more than a celebration.

It’s proof that Mombasa is choosing a cleaner, healthier way to move💚

Mombasa County & Bloomberg are building the cycling lanes to match.
