🚨Johann Chua’s Official Statement On The FOUL INCIDENT‼️

I want to sincerely apologize for not noticing a foul during my exhibition match earlier. If I had felt it or noticed it, I would have immediately called it on myself. I truly believe in playing with integrity and fairness, and I regret that this happened.

I also wish someone who saw it had informed me or called my attention to it right away. I would have gracefully acknowledged the mistake if it had been pointed out. As professional athletes, we might be opponents during the game, but outside of it, we are friends.

I accepted this match not to prove anything but simply to practice and entertain the fans who came to watch. Playing against KIÊN SẾU was supposed to be a fun and lighthearted match. Those who watched the game could probably tell that I was more jolly and playful than usual—something that’s not typically my style. I tried to match my opponent’s energy to make it enjoyable for everyone.

Winning or losing was never my intention in this match. I didn’t expect or want it to end this way, and this situation is one of the reasons I hesitate to play money matches anymore.

To the fans and supporters who felt disappointed, I deeply apologize. I’ve informed the sponsors that I won’t be keeping my earnings from this match. Instead, I will donate it either to the tournament’s prize fund or to my opponent if he chooses to accept it.

Once again, I’m truly sorry for this oversight, and I appreciate everyone’s understanding. Thank you for continuing to support the sport we all love.
