The last two months was packed and intense footballing activities across our expansive ward. We thank the 56 football teams cut across Grannies, men and lady's categories that participated in our 10th edition.
The tournament was not just a tournament to honour the winners but it gave our teams a lifeline and a renewed lease of life after almost four years of no football games. The tournament finals was a celebration of a vibrant footballing tradition coming back to life.
Through the Patron, partners and friends, all teams received a pair of 15 pieces jerseys, shorts and socks, a standard football ball and ofcourse a token of appreciation as participation fee.
We thank our Patron Hon Josphat Lowoi, OGW for this kind gesture and accepting to bring back to life the Lowoi Super Cup tournament that had already hosted 9 earlier editions. Kongoi sana sir.
The 56 teams that participated for their cooperation and display of great sportsmanship. Their management, coaches and captains for making sure the tournament is a success and without so.much drama.
We also greatly thank the tournament's committee and the technical team that oversaw the finals that is greatly considered one of the best in the region so far. May they even give us the best 11th edition. Kidero and his team and Mirriam and her team, you guys did marvellous job. Congratulations.
The refferes who officiated from the launch till the final day, we want to appreciate your contribution to the beautiful game and containing intense moments, may you stay blessed and advance your careers even further.
We also thank our football funs for making sure our fields were packed to the bream during the matches and making a statement during the finals in Rayfarm, you did not only come, you all come in big numbers. Let's continue supporting our teams one day, we will be there, very soon.
