🚨Myles Lewis-Skelly has become an influential figure and a voice to be heard inside Arsenal's dressing room 🗣️

Despite being only 19 years old, Lewis-Skelly has already begun playing an influential role off the pitch alongside the experienced players on the team (Sun Sport).

That time Jose Mourinho cooked Allan Saint-Maximin 😅

🗣️ Saint-Maximin posted: "When a lie takes the elevator, the truth takes the stairs. The truth takes longer, but it comes in the end."

🗣️ Mourinho, of course, responded in his own unique way: "I didn't know Maxi was talented at writing poetry. He used a poem about life and stairs. I'm good at it, too.

I can only say that when a footballer trains well, he becomes fit and can climb stairs without needing an elevator. But if he doesn't train well, if he arrives late, and is overweight, he needs an elevator to climb because he tires out very quickly on the stairs." 💀🤣

- A touching message from Gabriel Martinelli bidding farewell to Arsenal ❤️‍🩹

"I've reached this day, and honestly, I still don't feel ready to write the farewell, but I'll try"

"When I arrived here seven years ago, I was just a boy who had just turned 18. Deep down, I thought I'd stay forever, but life keeps changing, and sometimes it takes us down paths different from what we planned"

"Would we become champions one day? Would I adapt to a new club, a new country, and a new culture? Would I score in the Champions League? Would I score important goals? Would I compete in the Olympics? The World Cup? And could I even imagine scoring in the World Cup?

"All these thoughts were swirling in the head of 18-year-old Gabriel"

"And yes, we did it"

"We won the FA Cup and the Community Shield, and finally, we achieved what we'd waited so long for and became Premier League champions. With Brazil, I won Olympic gold, played in two World Cups, and scored a truly special goal. And with Arsenal, I reached 98 goal contributions"

"I spent seven years at this club. I feel like one of Highbury's adopted sons. I found a family that took care of me and watched me grow over these years"

I can only thank the staff and all my teammates, and everyone who was part of my story from 2019 until today. Thank you to everyone who helped me develop on this journey.

And to the fans, thank you for everything. From my very first day, you made me feel at home. Every time I stepped onto the pitch, I tried to give everything I had for this shirt.

To Arsenal, thank you for believing in me and giving me the chance to show myself to the world.

And most importantly, I thank my family and my wife, who were by my side throughout this journey and gave me the support I needed to overcome the challenges that only we truly know.

It was a long journey, a great history, and now it's reached its end. I'm writing these words with tears in my eyes; it's incredibly hard to sum up seven years in words.

From number 35 to number 11. Gooner once, Gooner always.

**Farewell, and thank you again 🤍❤️»

🚨🔴 THERE MAY HAVE BEEN MORE TO GYÖKERES’ ABSENCE THAN WE THOUGHT.

Arsenal leaving Viktor Gyökeres out of their last two games may have been part of a bigger plan.

Reports suggest the club wanted to keep the No.9 shirt available for Gyökeres while they worked on Gabriel Jesus’ departure.

The concern was reportedly that if Gyökeres played in the Premier League wearing No.14, Arsenal could have been forced to keep that number for him for the rest of the season.

Now that Jesus has completed his move to Barcelona, everything suddenly makes a lot more sense. 👀

Sometimes what looks like a strange decision on the pitch is actually connected to something happening behind the scenes.

Did Arsenal play this perfectly? 🔴⚪️

Staggering that Arsenal, the champions, end the window with a weaker attack than they started. Four out, one in at the top end of the pitch. It's a real struggle to make much sense of.

They could still be fine. They have plenty of options. But they now have to cross their fingers and hope injuries do not become a massive factor (unlike the last two seasons).

They were ambitious in terms of who they went for. But if you don't pull any of those deals off, then does it really matter? Now they look short in the one area of the pitch where they were already lacking real difference makers.

Defensively they are stacked, as they are in midfield. The additions of Guimaraes and Konsa are excellent. The type of deals that champions do. Hopefully that will be enough and the attackers they do still have stay injury free. If they do, they should still have enough, and there should also be healthy funds to attack the January window.

But despite that, it's impossible not to think the window has been mismanaged from an attacking point of view. However it is dressed up, ending it like this clearly wasn't the plan.
