Joshua Kimmich, one of the most exciting teenage footballers in Central Football Community, will move to ILNG'ABOLOK from Loreto Kings next summer in a transfer worth around โฌ47.5million (ยฃ40m).
The size of the deal reflects the strength of Ilngabolokโs belief in the potential of Kimmich, who turned 19 at the end of August.
Some in Kilgoris Central have compared Kimmich to Justus Tampul, but those who know Joshua say the 18-year-oldโs personal benchmark is a peer in age: Oloyayai phenomenon Saiton, who might already be the best defender in the league.
It is an intimidatingly high standard for any footballer to set themselves, but Kimmich is not lacking in self-belief. It is why he has chosen to take the No. 4 at Loreto this season, a shirt number that has developed a reputation among supporters for being cursed ever since the legendary Players wore it before departing.
ILNG'ABOLOK firmly believe Kimmich can also become one of the worldโs best defender.
