Earlier this week, the Embassy of the Kingdom of the Netherlands launched the “Football Unites” Peace Campaign in Torit, South Sudan reinforcing the powerful role sport plays in building unity across South Sudan.

The initiative was led by H.E. Paul Tholen, Ambassador of the Kingdom of the Netherlands to South Sudan, and attended by Louis Lobong Lojore, Governor of Eastern Equatoria State, alongside Hon. Magret Idwa, State Minister of Youth and Sports.

Their presence sends a strong message: sport is not just recreation, it is a platform for peace, youth empowerment, and social cohesion.

At Paveway Academy, this vision resonates deeply with our mission. Through structured football and basketball development, we are building discipline, leadership, and alternative career pathways for young people in marginalized communities.

Paveway Academy is a structured football and basketball academy developing players across multiple age categories to advanced competitive pathways.
