Many people have flocked our door with questions about Ishiara Gym Club - IGC
One of the questions being; "What's the purpose of IGC?"
Here's our answer:
It came to our notice that many youths - who have been rendered idle by the current staggering unemployment rates - have resulted to drug abuse.
They have these hiding joints where they cover their shame and frustrations.
The only way to survive in those dungeons is to escape reality by being high on substances.
It brought tears to our eyes, when I saw that the future generation is on the verge of extinction.
These young men who have buried their existence into dangerous substance abuse, are the anticipated fathers of today and tomorrow.
So what did I do after wiping the tears off?
We started a program to accommodate these young men who have been cast out by the society. These young men that no one cares about.
Our Gym program is not just meant to carry exercises, have fit bodies, embrace healthy living and go home.
Our program is home. It's a community. It's a place where the youths bring forth the challenges they face on a daily basis.
We listen, exchange thoughts and probable solutions.
It's crystal clear that our leaders care less about the youths. Ask them what they have done for the youths and they will start stammering or speaking in foreign tongues.
And that's happening with the full concept that the youths are the most valuable tool this nation has to catapult economical growth.
They say charity begins at home. IGC - Ishiara Gym Club -is just the first program to the many that we're going to put in place.
Our dream is to reach every youth in Mbeere North before spreading our wings and message globally.
This is a message to the youths of this country from IGC - Ishiara Gym Club;
"There's hope lighting a possible way. We shall follow the glint and create a way to the promised land. We're not going to die, we're to thrive. That we promise!"
