DISP is thrilled to announce that our scholarship program is expanding and evolving to impact even more lives in Myanmar.

What’s New?

In Cohort 2, we’re shifting our focus to offer 2-year Associate's Degrees and Master’s Degrees. While we previously provided 4-year Bachelor's Degrees, this change allows us to help more students achieve their academic dreams. Last time, nearly 2,500 students applied, but we could only award scholarships to 107 of them. By offering Associate's Degrees, we can support many more deserving students on their educational journeys!

What is an Associate's Degree?

An Associate's Degree is a 2-year program that provides students with foundational knowledge and skills in a specific field. It’s a great stepping stone, allowing you to enter the workforce sooner or continue your studies towards a higher degree. It can also be a good option for students from vulnerable groups who may have been blocked from having the same academic opportunities as people with more privilege.

For those who have outstanding scholarship applications but fall short on the English test score normally required to move to the interview round, we’re introducing a brand-new opportunity: you may be considered for a competitive, 1-year English study scholarship in Thailand! This can give you the chance to improve your English skills and reapply for your desired program.

DISP ပညာသင်ဆု အသိပေးကြေညာချက်

မြန်မာ့လူမှုအဖွဲ့အစည်းအား အထောက်အကူပြုမည့် မြန်မာလူငယ်လူရွယ်များအတွက် USAID မှ ထောက်ပံ့ပေးအပ်နေသော DISP ပညာသင်ဆုကို အစီအစဉ်သစ်များဖြင့် တိုးချဲ့လုပ်ဆောင်နေကြောင်း DISP မှ ဝမ်းမြောက်စွာ အသိပေးအပ်ပါတယ်။

ဒီတကြိမ် ဘာတွေထူးခြားပါလဲ?

အခု ဒုတိယအကြိမ် (Cohort 2) ပညာသင်ဆုအတွက် DISP မှ (၂) နှစ်တာ ပညာသင်ကြားမှုနဲ့ ဘွဲ့ရရှိမည့် Associate's Degree နှင့် Master's Degrees များဖြင့် ပညာသင်ဆု အစီအစဉ်များပြောင်းလဲပေးအပ်သွားပါမည်။ ပထမအကြိမ် (Cohort 1) ပညာသင်ဆု ပေးအပ်စဉ်က (၄) နှစ် တက်ရတဲ့ ဝိဇ္ဇာနှင့်သိပ္ပံဘွဲ့ကို ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပေမဲ့၊ အခုတကြိမ် အပြောင်းအလဲကတော့ မြန်မာနိုင်ငံတွင်းရှိ အထက်တန်းပညာ အောင်မြင်ပြီး (သို့) တက္ကသိုလ်ပညာရေးကို (၁-၂) နှစ် တက်ရောက်ပြီး ပညာ ဆက်လက်သင်ကြားခွင့် ဆုံးရှုံးနေသော များစွာသော လူငယ်များ၏ ပညာရေးအိပ်မက်ကို တနည်းတဖုံ ကူညီပေးသည့် အခွင့်အရေး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ ပထမအကြိမ် DISP ပညာသင်ဆုအတွက် လူငယ်ကျောင်းသူကျောင်းသား ၂,၅၀၀ နီးပါး လျှောက်ထားခဲ့သော်လည်း လျှောက်ထားသူများထဲမှ ၁၀၇ ဦးကို ပညာသင်ဆုများ ရွေးချယ်ပေးအပ်ခဲ့ပါတယ်။ ဒီတကြိမ်တော့ Associate's Degree ဘွဲ့ကို ရွေးချယ်ပေးအပ်ရသည့် ရည်ရွယ်ချက်မှာပညာရေးအခွင့်အရေး ဆုံးရှုံးနေသော မြန်မာလူငယ်လူရွယ်များအတွက် အခွင့်အလမ်းသစ်ဖြင့် ပံ့ပိုးပေးလိုခြင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Associate's Degree ဆိုတာ ဘာလဲ?

Associate's Degree ဆိုတာ (၄) နှစ် သင်ကြားရသည့် ဝိဇ္ဇာနှင့်သိပ္ပံဘွဲ့ (Bachelor) အောက်ရှိ (၂) နှစ် ကောလိပ်တက္ကသိုလ် အရည်အချင်းစစ် ဘွဲ့ကြိုဘွဲ့ ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ တနည်းအားဖြင့် (၂) နှစ် ကျောင်းတက်ပြီး သင်ကြားတက်‌မြောက်သည့် ပညာရပ်ဖြင့် အလုပ်ခွင်သို့ အလျင်အမြန် ဝင်ရောက်နိုင်သလို၊ (၂) နှစ် တက်ရောက်‌ပြီးနောက် (၄) နှစ် ဝိဇ္ဇာနှင့်သိပ္ပံဘွဲ့ကို ပေါင်းကူးတက်ရောက်နိုင်သည့် အခွင့်အလမ်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။ အထူးအားဖြင့် အခွင့်အလမ်းနည်းပါး၊ ပိတ်ပင်တားမြစ်မှုတွေကို ရင်ဆိုင်နေကြသော မြန်မာလူငယ်လူရွယ်များအတွက် သင့်တော်သော အခွင့်ရေးကောင်း ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

အခွင့်အလမ်းသစ်

ဒီတကြိမ် DISP မှ စီစဉ်ပေးအပ်သွားမည့် အခွင့်အလမ်းသစ် နောက်တခုကတော့ ပညာသင်ဆုလျှောက်ပြီး၊ လျှောက်လွှာအဆင့် အောင်ခဲ့ပေမဲ့ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ အရည်အချင်းစစ် စာမေးပွဲရမှတ် နည်းလို့၊ လူတွေ့အင်တာဗျူး ဖြေဆိုခွင့်မရသူများအတွက် အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ မွမ်းမံသင်တန်းကို ဖွင့်လှစ်ပေးသွားပါမည်။ အဆင့်မြင့် ထိုင်းတက္ကသိုလ်တခုမှာ (၁) နှစ်တာ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာသင်တန်းကို တက်ရောက်သင်ကြားပြီး၊ နောက်တကြိမ် ပညာသင်ဆု ရွေးချယ်‌တဲ့အခါ အင်္ဂလိပ်စာ သင်တန်းတက်ရောက် အောင်မြင်သူများအား ဦးစားပေးစဉ်းစားသွားမည့် အခွင့်အရေး ဖြစ်ပါတယ်။

Cohort 2 အတွက် သိသင့်သိထိုက်တဲ့ အချက်အလက်များကို ဆက်လက်တင်ပြသွားမှာမို့ ဒီစာမျက်နှာကို Like & Follow လုပ် စောင့်ကြည့်သွားပါ။ မြန်မာလူငယ်လူရွယ်များ၏ ကြိုးစားအားထုတ်၊ အောင်မြင်မှုများကို DISP အဖွဲ့သူအဖွဲ့သားများမှ အမြဲဂုဏ်ယူလျှက်ရှိပါတယ်။
