What an incredible way to wrap up the Chasing Petals Run Series! A huge THANK YOU to everyone who came out and finished strong at Kadena Elementary PTSO’s run yesterday. Your energy, support, and dedication made this final run so special as we celebrated our amazing military kids all month long. 💜

From the very first race to the final steps across the finish line, this series has truly been something special—and it wouldn’t have been possible without each and every one of you!

For those who can’t make it to the run on Saturday and have purchased an INDIVIDUAL medal from Kadena Elementary, they will have a pick up tomorrow afternoon! (Remember, if you are collecting all the medals, be sure to bring one with you to ensure you get a medal that has matching magnets!)

Did someone say Virtual Firebird 5K? Here we go!! We heard so many missed out on the opportunity to purchase a Firebird 5k Medal, so we decided to offer a virtual option! 50 Firebird Virtual 5K medals are up for sale online now & will be available for pickup at the final Chasing Pedals Run Series 5K event hosted by Kadena Elementary! Pre-order now!
Medal Pickup is at 7:30am at the 2026 Hero’s in Bloom 5k and Color Run. This will be your last chance to receive one of these amazing medals. It is first come, first serve. Pre-order now to know you get to walk… or should we say, RUN away with these limited, very special medals.

🕢 Check-in: 7:30 AM
🏃‍♀️ 5K: 8:30 AM
🎨 Color Fun Run: 9:00 AM

Run the course around Kadena Elementary & Ryukyu Middle School—be sure to check the route map in the image before you arrive!

🌸 Whether you’ve run one race or all five, this is your moment to cross that final finish line and celebrate everything this series has been!

🌸 Chasing Petals Run Series – Individual Medal Pick Up Info & Updates 🌸

We’re so excited to see so many of you completing your medal sets! As we move into upcoming pick up opportunities across each school, please be sure to check the schedule in the image for specific dates, times, and locations.

⚠️ Important Magnet Update:
We discovered that our 2nd medal shipment has magnets facing the opposite direction. If you are collecting the full set, please bring one of your medals to pick up so we can ensure you receive a medal that matches your set.

🔄 Lester Medal Swap:
If you received your Lester medal at the in-person run and it doesn’t match your set, no worries! Please reach out to us, and we’ll coordinate a swap to make sure your medals fit together perfectly.

**Those who still need to pick up their full medal set can do so at the final run on April 11th.

Upcoming Highlights:

Kadena Elementary still has their run coming up on Saturday, April 11th — their medals will be available for pick up at the run!

Amelia Earhart Intermediate School (AEIS) will be releasing its final 50 medals in April, giving you another chance to complete your full set!
