USA Gymnastics Okinawa

USA Gymnastics Okinawa USA gymnastics Okinawa page is designed to share some of the programs that we offer in gymnastics and to answer questions parents may have about the program.

Parents and coaches have formed a private organization, Typhoon Twisters, to provide competitive experiences for high level girls gymnasts from the Kadena Youth Center. Girls try-out and must demonstrate proficiency at USAG level 4 skills or have already competed at that level or higher at a USAG sanctioned competition. Girls will have the opportunity to compete at gymnastics competition in Naha,

Okinawa, a competition where a USAG judge is brought to Okinawa, and the possibility to travel to Hawaii for a meet. They will also demonstrate their skills at local events.
