For the first time in Japan! The international women’s snowboarding event founded by Jess Kimura is coming to Nekoma. Watch the next generation of female riders throw down in an intense jib battle on a custom-built setup! 🔥

🗓 Feb 25–26: All Japan Snowboarding Championships (Big Air)
The ultimate winter festival is back! Along with the Big Air competition, enjoy a massive gear demo for both skis and boards, booths, and night events. It’s a full-on celebration of mountain culture! ✨

🗓 Mar 6–8: MURASAKI SPORTS AIRMIX STYLE BATTLES 2026

📍 Flowing Park
A massive 1,800m long "terrain playground" for everyone to enjoy together! 🌊 With waves, banks, walls, and spines, the lines are endless. If you’ve ever felt intimidated by parks, this is for you—it feels like an amusement park on snow! It’s also the perfect place to level up your overall riding skills.

📍 Step Up Park
The ultimate spot to dial in your tricks. 🛠️ Our kickers range from 2m to 10m with small size increments, so you can safely challenge yourself to the next level. Perfect for beginner to upper-intermediate riders. Plus, hike-up sessions are available in front of "The Rider's"!

📍 Global Park

The resort boasts unique "micro-fine" powder snow,mainly on the northern slopes.
The elevation of more than 1,000 meters and the cold air from the Goshiki-numa lakes both contribute to this high-quality powder and the amazing experience it provides.

❄ Tree Run
A new Tree Run Zone has arrived in the South Area! Spanning a vast 20 hectares, you can weave through beautiful beech forests and enjoy an authentic powder run in the heart of nature. Opening is planned as soon as there is sufficient snow cover (expected early January).

❄ Powder Deep
We’re keeping the fresh snow untouched on select courses in the North Area just for this! Once the snow reaches the perfect depth, the gates open—offering an exceptional sensation of floating through incredibly deep powder. Check our official website for open dates and updates.

❄ Cat Tour
Climb aboard a snow compactor and take a ride to an ungroomed run normally closed to the public.
With group reservations an option, you and your friends could have a fresh powder piste all to yourselves.

The Aizu region in which NEKOMA Mountain islocated is littered with places offering unique tourist experiences: Aizuwakamatsu, home to iconic Tsuruga Castle and steeped in "SAMURAI" culture and history; Urabandai, with its magnificent nature; and Kitakata, home to one of Japan's top three ramen styles.

With so many interesting destinations within a 30-minute drive from NEKOMA Mountain, sightseeing tours are highly recommended.

📍Aizuwakamatsu City
A city where the spirit of the Samurai still lives on, centered around the iconic Tsuruga Castle. You can explore numerous historical spots and charming streets that take you back in time. For a deeper dive into the culture, try a martial arts (Budo) workshop or traditional craft experiences! The sight of Tsuruga Castle blanketed in pure white snow is an absolute must-see—a true winter masterpiece.

📍Urabandai Area
Home to the North Area of the resort, this region offers breathtaking nature formed by the volcanic activity of Mt. Bandai. You’ll find a stunning collection of lakes and ponds here. For a unique winter activity, we highly recommend trying "Wakasagi" (smelt) ice fishing on Lake Hibara!

📍Kitakata City
Famous for its picturesque streets lined with traditional "Kura" (storehouses), this city is a paradise for foodies. It’s home to Kitakata Ramen, one of Japan’s top three ramen styles. It’s closer than you think! Just a 3.5-hour drive from Tokyo. You can also take a 1.5-hour direct bus from Koriyama Station, the gateway to Fukushima.

Hoshino Resorts NEKOMA Mountain is Japan's largest ski resort, boasting a total of 33 runs.
