Karma Tashi Wangyel, a 14-year-old student at Taba Lower Secondary School in 8th grade, has been actively engaged in baseball for nearly three years, primarily as a pitcher. His involvement in this sport has not only contributed to physical well-being but has also enriched his educational journey by instilling essential qualities such as discipline, teamwork, and effective time management.
Beyond personal growth, Karma aspires to inspire younger children to embrace baseball by highlighting its beauty and sharing insights about the sport. He believes in showcasing the attraction of baseball through impactful videos. Karma’s influence extends to his schoolmates, as his team’s success in the U15 tournament and other competitions prompted fellow students at Taba LSS to seek his guidance in learning baseball.
Mentally, Karma notes increased concentration through his baseball journey, while physically, the sport has facilitated strength development. His commitment to both education and baseball underscores the holistic benefits of sports participation for young individuals like himself
