My name is Coach Rohan Whyte, and I am proud to be part of the Makoz Swim Club family.

At Makoz, we are more than just a swim team — we are a community built on discipline, respect, growth, and support for one another. Our goal is not only to develop strong, competitive swimmers but also confident individuals who value teamwork and perseverance.

We welcome swimmers of all levels and ages, and we encourage participation across all categories so that everyone has the opportunity to learn, improve, and compete.

As we step into the New Year, I want to wish each one of you the very best—both in and out of the pool. Be proud of the effort you’ve put in so far, and remember that progress comes from consistency, discipline, and belief in yourself.

This year, focus on the basics: show up on time, train with purpose, listen to your body, and never cut corners. Set clear goals, stay patient with the process, and support each other as a team. Some days will be tough, but those are the days that make you stronger.

Most importantly, enjoy the journey. Swim with passion, race with confidence, and always give your best.
