Uwi/Carimac Students' Society- (CSS) The CARIMAC Students’ Society (CSS) seeks to foster a unified relationship among staff and students at all levels of the institution.

The CARIMAC Students’ Society (CSS) is a student led organisation that seeks to foster a unified relationship among staff and students of the insitution and the maximisation of skills and talents in positively nurturing future media practitioners. Before, there existed no established forum for students and teachers of the institution to interact on a non-academic level-the CSS will seek to provide this. It will also aim to bridge the gap and cycle of segregation that exists on a yearly basis following the enrollment of new students to the institution. The Society intends to engage in outreach activities that will benefit both its members as well the wider university community and its stakeholders. This Society will meet with the aim of helping members (CARIMAC students) to develop networks with media practitioners that could assist with the experience and advice needed to mold them on their quest on being the best practitioners of the trade.
