Originally positioned as a Non-Profit Organization, the club was established out of a need to create an outreach programme to Youth in the communities of; New Kingston, Almond Town, Swallowfield, Trafalgar Park, Cross Roads, Trench Town and Maverley areas. The Club was founded upon the core principles of respect for the sport of football and diligence in training resulting in excellence on the fi
eld of play. The aim of the sports programme is to produce high calibre athletes who develop into purposeful and focused young men that will contribute positively to the Jamaican society.The New Kingston Football Club is a member of the Kingston & St. Andrew Football Association (KSAFA) in Kingston, Jamaica and participates in the KSAFA Major League. With the untimely passing of the club's beloved founder and President David 'Toby' Mighty in December 31, 2016, the club now under the leadership of Chairman and President Andrew Minott. Minott's vision is to pursue a social mission for the club in order to ensure sustainable development for the communities we serve. This will enable New Kingston Football Club to become a vehicle for social change and transformation in lives of disenfranchised inner city youths in Kingston, Jamaica.
