This is one of those times when a simple “thank you” is just not enough.
The outpouring of support that the Roxbury Softball Association has received in honor of G-Unit and her family has been truly overwhelming. We feel humbled, honored, grateful, and incredibly lucky to be part of both the Roxbury community and the softball family.
First, we would like to thank the Mt. Olive and Denville Softball organizations for joining us. Your willingness to be part of this event was evident from the very beginning, and we will be forever grateful for your support. We would also like to extend a heartfelt thank you to Rebelz Fastpitch for their unwavering support, generosity, and commitment to our cause. We are incredibly grateful to have you standing alongside us.
One of the most meaningful lessons from this experience has been seeing that our softball family extends far beyond Roxbury’s borders. While we wear different uniforms and represent different towns, we are united by a shared love of the game and a commitment to supporting one another when it matters most. The kindness, generosity, and compassion shown by organizations and families throughout the area remind us that the softball community is truly one large family, and we are incredibly grateful to be a part of it.
We would also like to express our sincere gratitude to the Roxbury Recreation Department, The Spray Studio, Chick-fil-A of Morris Plains, Cardella Events, Cornerstone Plumbing, The Ice Factory, Legacy Printing, and Roxbury Fire Company No. 1 for their generous support of G-Unit Day. Your contributions played a vital role in making this event possible and helping us celebrate the strength of our community.
To every family, player, coach, volunteer, donor, and supporter who purchased raffle tickets, made donations, worked behind the scenes, attended the event, or simply helped spread the word—thank you. Every act of kindness, no matter how big or small, contributed to a day that we will never forget.
G-Unit Day was about much more than softball. It was a reminder that when a member of our community needs support, people come together. They show up. They give generously. They care deeply. The love, compassion, and unity on display throughout the day are a testament to the incredible people who make up our Roxbury community and the broader softball family.
From the bottom of our hearts, thank you for helping us honor G-Unit and her family. Your support has meant more than words can adequately express, and we will carry it with us for a very long time.
Together, we demonstrated the very best of what community looks like—and for that, we are forever grateful.
