A few more pictures from Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek

I also wanted to give a huge thanks to Storm Chassis for making it possible for me to attend last week’s races and giving me the opportunity to get more seat time.

I appreciate all the help from Zach Curtis Racing for also helping and guiding me through the week.

While I didn’t get the results I was hoping for, I did try my hardest to push myself as much as possible. Pushing through C mains, advancing to some B mains, avoiding wrecks, getting wrecked, and unfortunately not advancing to the feature. I’m thankful for the seat time and to learn as much as possible working on the cars to make them better. I hope to get more racing in before the season ends and gain more ground. I’m going to keep digging as much as I can.

I also want to thank my Papa for helping and driving me around the past week to these races. Thank you to my Dad as well for making this all possible.

Racing canceled for today and rescheduled for tomorrow.

Last nights recap for Day 6:

Qualifying: 33th in flight A. Hit the cushion to hard on the first lap and was in the slick in the other lap so not the way I wanted to qualify.
Heat: 9-8 felt like I definitely had a chance in top five but getting around the wrecks and staying away from everyone wasn’t happening.
C-Main: 5-DNF, technically finished 9th. On the start the car behind just ran me over and almost spun me out. I was right behind the transfer spot when they wrecked in front and I tried to avoid it but one of the cars darted the way I went and ended my night.

I have not had a good week this year. I’ve been in a wreck every night that none of were my fault or I’ve been taken out. I hope to change my luck for one more night at Clyde Martin Memorial Speedway on Sunday for the final night of Speedweek.

Today I will be working on the car to prep for tomorrow.

Day 6 of Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek

Night 5 results :

Qualifying: 38th quick. Still learning the track, first time racing here, a track shaped like a D.
Heat: 10-8 Felt a little bit more comfortable and got a couple spots.
C-Main: 2-2 Was battling for the lead almost had the win but still transfered to the B
B-Main: 22-14. Didn’t transfer, feel like I came off the night strong from where it started and learned a lot from this track.

And Congratulations to Vincentgueciracing09 for getting 3rd place and Zach Curtis Racing with a successful night as well finishing 4th.

Getting ready for Day 5 of Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek.
Last night Action Track USA was definitely better but still had some bad luck .

Qualifying: 24/50 cars in flight A

Heat: supposed to start second but the leader was put to the tail so I started 1st, finished 2nd

B-Main: Started 8th, was going into the corner side by side with Gavin Gardener when another driver thought they could split the middle and hit/pushed me all the way up the track, then there was a pile up in the next corner that was a foot away and couldn’t avoid it. I was able to continue and had to start 25th. Race times out. Finished 18th.

More seat time, more learning, better results. Just have to keep working at it.

Day 4 of Hyper Racing 600 Speedweek. Headed to Action Track USA.

Night 3 results :

Qualifying: 18 out of 50 in flight B
Heat: went 3-4 but was hitting the chip way too much and was causing me to slow down.
B-Main: Qukaified 12th in the B main! 🎉. Doing my best to keep the momentum going. First time in the B main for this series this week. Noticed motor would bog down. Something was up. Tried my best to finish as best I could. Got off the track and found the fuel pump went bad, therefore it would just bog the motor slowing me down a lot with no way to keep up with the rest of the cars. Lady Luck not on our side.
