Community Driven IWRM

Community Driven IWRM Roger Short Roger is a senior independent development practitioner and freelance writer.

From 2000 - 2011 he was involved in the two faces of the Danida funded IWRM programme in South Africa. During the first phase as the institutional and capacity building adviser and the second phase as the Senior Technical Adviser. The success of the programme was based upon strong teamwork and believing in people. The actors will be described in the blogs that will shortly be up and running.

Since 2006 (Phase II) some 80+ projects were implemented under the broad heading of Community Driven IWRM - Improving Livelihoods and Community Wellbeing.
