IP0A - IARU VHF 2025 from JN40OU Mt.Limbara

The IARU VHF is over and we are happy to announce the preliminary results of IP0A. We achieved our target to make 500 QSOs and 300k points. IP0A operated from former military USAF base on Mt.Limbara - JN40OU. Now we can publish officialy our little secret. It is our weapon on 2m with 27dB gain - 18m dish direction 19 degrees (DL, OK). And it works! We have worked 16x DL and 34x OK!!! Also amazing number of QSOs over 1000km - 65!!!! Thank you all for QSOs with our distance station on Sardegna. The team is back in Sorso and we just preparing some pictures and videos to publish. 73 de Richard IS0JHQ / IP0A

The whole IP0A team is on Sardinia and finalizing preparations for the IARU VHF contest. Tomorrow morning we will leave for Mt. Limbara / JN40OU. Operators Richard IS0JHQ, Jozef OM5AW, Mila OK1VUM, Jozef OM5CD, Dominik OM6DN and Nicola IS0IYN are looking for QSOs with you! Look for us on KST and turn your antennas to JN40.

Jozef OM5AW, Richard IS0JHQ and Nicola IS0IYN made some tests from Monte Limbara in JN40OU operating as IS0/OM5AW and IS0JHQ on 2m and 70cm. Made only few QSOs, but highlight is QSO on 70cm with OK1VUM from JN79FX...1094km!!!
