Week four.

Every Sunday the valley feels quiet again. Then a new group arrives, boats start appearing everywhere and names become faces.

After three incredible weeks, we’re still just as excited to get back on the water and share these rivers with another crew of paddlers.

The Valsesia keeps delivering: beautiful rivers, great people and moments that remind us why we love this place so much.

Somewhere between the shuttle rides, the river scouting, the endless jokes and the post-paddling beers, another week disappeared.

This week brought us another brilliant British crew, an awesome American family and plenty of moments we’ll remember for a long time.

Sometimes it’s easy to forget how lucky we are. People travel from all over the world to paddle these rivers, and somehow we get to call this place home.

Right now we’re tired. But it’s the good kind of tired.

Second week of the season, new crew, completely different story.

This time the rivers finally decided to cooperate.
More water in the Sesia, an Egua full of good moments, and eventually an Alpin Sprint at 80 that the whole group managed to put together beautifully.
These photos capture a lot more than just rapids.
Focus, excitement, support, trust and that special kind of energy that grows day after day when a group becomes a real team on the river.

Strong paddlers, strong friendships and the kind of crew that celebrates every single person making it to the bottom.

Really cool week with these guys.

A week of kayaking, low water levels, highly anticipated gelato and a ridiculous amount of laughing.
The rivers didn’t always give us what we hoped for, but somehow that stopped mattering pretty quickly.
Good people, good vibes, discovering the valley together and making the most out of every day on and off the river.

Really grateful for this crew and for weeks like this.
Sometimes this job genuinely feels like the best one in the world.
