🇬🇧 Everything starts in Campiglia Marittima.

Every year, at the end of May, the streets of the village fill with smiles and bicycles. The usually quiet alleys echo with voices and laughter in every language of the world. We have chosen Campiglia Marittima again this year because, as well as being one of the most beautiful villages in Tuscany, it perfectly embodies the spirit of the trail. Welcoming, genuine and sincere.

We look forward to seeing you in Tuscany.

🇮🇹 Campiglia Marittima è dove tutto inizia.

Ogni anno, a fine maggio, le strade del borgo si riempiono di sorrisi e biciclette. Nei vicoli solitamente silenziosi risuonano voci e risate in tutte le lingue del mondo. Anche quest'anno abbiamo scelto Campiglia Marittima perché, oltre a essere tra i borghi più belli della Toscana, incarna perfettamente lo spirito del trail. Accogliente, genuina, sincera.

Vi aspettiamo in Toscana.

🇬🇧 Tuscany Trail 2027.

From May 19 to May 25, 2027, thousands of cyclists from all over the world will once again ride together on the gravel roads of Tuscany. Start and finish, once again, in Campiglia Marittima.

For now, there's just one thing to do, save these dates.

📅 November 1. Register early with the bundle, Tuscany Trail 2027 plus a second Bike Adventure Series event of your choice between Trentino Gravel, The Grand Escape and Unpaved Roads. Limited spots for each combination.

📅 December 3. Registrations open for the 14th edition, Classic or No Stress format. Six thousand places.

📅 3 dicembre. Si aprono le iscrizioni alla quattordicesima edizione, formula Classic o No Stress. Seimila posti.

You are in good company. In 2026, 55% were at their first bikepacking event, and 85% completed the route without cutting a single metre.

Sei in buona compagnia. Nel 2026 il 55% era al primo evento di bikepacking, e l'85% ha completato il percorso senza tagliare un metro.

🇬🇧 At Tuscany Trail, the 'no race' spirit is there since day one, because we truly believe that the best experiences cannot be measured with a stopwatch.

Take the time to take a picture at sunset, share a plate of pasta with old and new friends, and why not even get off your bike and lose yourself in the narrow streets of the villages.

This is also part of the Tuscany Trail experience.

🇬🇧 What is the right bike to participate in the Tuscany Trail?

The Tuscany Trail route has been designed for you to enjoy it on your gravel bike, but if you prefer to participate with your MTB, we assure you that it will still be a blast!

And if you want to join on an e-bike, with a little planning, you'll have no trouble recharging the battery. ⚡

In 2026 the start line was 77% gravel, 15% MTB and 6% e-bikes. And nobody looks at yours, because it is not a race.

Let us know which bike you'll be riding, and we'll see you in Tuscany!

Il percorso del Tuscany Trail è stato disegnato per farti divertire con la tua gravel ma se preferisci partecipare con la tua MTB ti assicuriamo che sarà comunque una goduria!

E se vuoi partecipare in e-bike, con un minimo di pianificazione non avrai problemi a ricaricare la batteria. ⚡

Nel 2026 al via c'era il 77% di gravel, il 15% di MTB e il 6% di e-bike. E nessuno guarda la tua, perché non è una gara.

🇬🇧 Picture yourself cycling through these landscapes, hearing the sound of your wheels on the dirt roads and smelling the aroma of freshly baked schiacciata.

At the Tuscany Trail food is half the trip. Cacciucco on the coast, wild boar and tortelli in the Maremma, pici around Siena. And schiacciata in your pocket. It is cheap, it does not crumble, and with ham inside it gets you through forty kilometres.

Take the time to share a plate of pasta with old and new friends. Stop for lunch, really. The time you lose at the table is not lost.

🇮🇹 Immagina di pedalare in questi panorami, di sentire il rumore delle ruote sulle strade bianche e il profumo di schiacciata appena sfornata.

Al Tuscany Trail il cibo è metà del viaggio. Sulla costa il cacciucco, in Maremma il cinghiale e i tortelli, nel senese i pici. E in tasca la schiacciata, che costa poco, non si sbriciola e col prosciutto dentro regge quaranta chilometri.

Concediti il tempo di un piatto di pasta condiviso con vecchi e nuovi amici. Fermati a pranzo, davvero. Il tempo che perdi a tavola non lo stai perdendo.

Here, it's not about arriving first, it's about enjoying the journey.
There is no one with a stopwatch.
The window is seven days, most riders finish in four, and if you are in no hurry you take the full six.

Qui non conta arrivare per primi, conta godersi il viaggio.
Non c'è nessuno con il cronometro.

A deviation from the route that, for the first time in fourteen editions, will have you board a ferry to discover a corner of Tuscany you have only ever looked at from the horizon, the island of Elba.

It connects to both the Original and the Newbie route. Who is planning to do it? You can think about it right up to the last junction.
