🇯🇵 Twice in Japan, two completely different trips.
The first time, I traveled on my own and did what you probably should do when visiting such a unique country for the first time: Tokyo, Kyoto, Nara and Osaka, discovering some of Japan’s history, traditions and everything that makes it so different from what we’re used to.
The second time, I came back for work and had the chance to experience Tokyo in a completely different way. Fewer “must-see” places and more time to explore the city: wandering through less touristy neighborhoods, getting a glimpse of everyday life and, of course, experiencing the nightlife in Shinjuku. 😬
Two very different experiences, but both unforgettable.
And right at the end of my second trip, completely by chance, I also met an Italian legend from my sport, rugby. 🏉
Not a bad way to end an amazing trip.
Japan is definitely one of those places I’d go back to again. 🇯🇵
