Yoga doesn't need to be perfect. It took me some time to really understand that, but the overlooked truth is that yoga is not just about getting an asana right. It is (so much more) about connecting with your body and -through your body- with nature. And guess what? Your body doesn't need to be perfect either. You might be striving with balance, or inversions, or meditation ... whatever it is that you're not perfect at, it doesn't matter.
You’ll get there eventually, step by step, in your own time. You’ll get it right not because you’ll look awesome. You’ll get it right because it’ll feel right, in every possible way.
Remember it’s all about the journey (to yourself, through yourself), not the destination.
