One of the things I’ve looked forward to most on this trip is seeing play at the Allianz Stadium. I was particularly excited about watching one of the greatest players ever: Cristiano Ronaldo.
So it was with no shortage of irony that he flounced around, misplaced most of his passes and was generally gash for 55 minutes before being subbed off, exchanging angry words with his manager and storming down the tunnel. Apparently he left the stadium before full time (wonder if he saw Paolo Dybala’s winner 🤔?).
Nonetheless, it was a bucket-list-ticking night and I was privileged to have finally got to see Ronny and his Juve team in action.
