Details Matter - The Vala Lite

By focusing on the build kit, Vala Lite gives you the best of both worlds—the torque and range of a full-power ebike, but with the weight and feel of an SL-class ebike at 45.5lbs.
But we didn’t want to just go find the lightest weight components, slap it together, and call it good. We wanted the ride quality and performance you have come to expect from the standard Vala, with smart spec changes that allowed us to drop a noticeable amount of weight.

What hasn’t changed:

- Full-Power Bosch Performance CX Drive Unit.
All the power *and more* with the new Bosch Performance 2.0 software update.
This allows you to tune your motor settings with up to 120 Nm of torque, and 600% maximum support on hand (The 2.0 update needs a full Details Matter post of its own, so stay tuned!)

- Vala CC Carbon frame
Same high-quality carbon construction, and in-molded cable routing tunnels for the easiest of maintenance.

Featured updates:

- Fox 36 Fork
A high-performing, capable fork, the 36 brings big fork energy to trail riding.
Steering stiffness and smooth travel give the 36 an enduro feel without the weight.

- Reserve Carbon 30|HD Wheels
Reserve’s ultra-durable wheelset, with DT Swiss 240DF hubs to slim the weight. All backed by a lifetime guarantee.

- Maxxis 3C MaxxGrip, EXO+ Tires
Maxxis combines the softest 3C rubber with a EXO+ reinforced 60 TPI casing for puncture protection. Assegai 2.5” MaxxGrip up front, 2.5” DHR ll MaxxTerra in the back.

- SRAM Maven Ultimate Carbon Brakes
Features a carbon lever blade and a caliper with machined edges, titanium hardware, and 200mm rotors for big stopping power.

- e13 Helix Race Carbon Cranks e*spec.
Ultralight carbon e-bike crank design, the with the highest strength-to-weight available for All-Mountain applications at approximately 330gr.

Because a lot of the savings come from the fork and wheels, you’ll feel the difference every time you lift the front end to clear obstacles, every time you accelerate out of a turn, and every time you push a little bit harder through the techy bits of trail. It’s not a new bike, it’s a new way to ride a full-power ebike.
