The historic headquarters was in Via Nicolò Tommaseo in Padua and it was then moved to the city’s industrial
zone. The cyclists’ jersey was blue with a black horizontal band. Those
were the years of Bevilacqua, Brasola, Conterno, Dall’Agata, De
Filippi, who won a stage at the Giro, Favero, Gismondi, Giusti, Zamboni
and especially of Cleto Maule e Aldo Moser, who challenged
Coppi e Magni finishing,
respectively, fourth and fifth at the 1956
Giro. Aldo Moser won two stages of the Giro one on the Pordoi. For
the team, the frames were custom made for every cyclist. Torpado
was teamwork, fellowship, but above all a great passion. Torpado range includes City bikes, trekking bikes, kid bikes,
e-bikes, Downhill, and a new range “IMPUDENT” of racing
mountain bikes studied and developed thanks to the new
team UCI Torpado. The official team was born in order to conquer the new generations,
creating a range of mountain bikes that can to put together innovation
and tradition.
