This dog was the first foot in the door towards the life I really wanted to live.

It was never the right time to get a dog.. but why?! Because I worked full-time and lived in the city?

So I decided I would turn it around.. I'm going to get a dog and make sure that I will never have a job again where I can't take him with me!

Now this escalated quite a bit 😅 but the point is I put my lifestyle first and my job second.

And that's really how it should be!

Unfortunately we live in such close minded bubbles that we often think there is really no other way to live.

We think that the only way to make a living would be to work a full-time job at X or Y.

The good news? We can step out of our bubble!

It's what we do during The Core Program. And it's pretty damn cool to see what people come up with once they do.

1 year of coaching 🥳

For more than two years I dreamt of starting my own business. I dreamt of having something where every ounce of energy I put in (or didn't) would be reflected directly in the outcome.

It took me 4 months, and a wall full of ideas, untill I fully went for the 'life coaching' idea.

The entire process I went through is actually what The Core Program is based on.

I failed A LOT. Coming up with ideas wasn't the issue, I had lots of them! (something with ADD and such.. 🙃) but choosing one to go for 1000% scared the hell out of me.

First of all, I had so many interests and not one 'passion' that overshadowed them so how could I choose between them?!

And second of all, what if I chose the wrong thing?! What if it didn't work out and I wasted months building it up?

Here are my biggest takeaways from the whole process:

1️⃣ Action leads to clarity! You won't know where you end up when you start off, so just start doing. Take that messy action and let life lead you instead of the other way round!

2️⃣ It's not all about finding your "passion", it's about realising your core value. This is all about turning inwards and finding your purpose.

3️⃣ Don't think about the money!! (I made a huge mistake here 🙄) make sure you have the financial space to jump into something completely new. You can have a part-time job, a side hustle or savings to get you through.

4️⃣ Look at current opportunities, but don't base your choice on popular trends. Once you figure out your core value and you start doing the thing you love, the only thing you'll be able to do is deliver quality. And that's all that people want!

And lastly..

5️⃣ Taking a step back doesn't always mean taking a step backwards 🧡

And remember; I started with nothing. If I can do this, you can too!

The master has failed many more times than the student has ever tried -

A lot of people out there LOVE learning! They love it so much that they never end up taking action.

It's often perfectionists.

People who want to make sure everything is "perfect" before they do anything.

But perfectionism won't get you any further in life.

Because perfectionism is in the end fear driven. And that fear withholds you from getting getting where you want to go.

The truth is; 𝗶𝗻 𝗳𝗮𝗶𝗹𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗹𝗶𝗲𝘀 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝗯𝗶𝗴𝗴𝗲𝘀𝘁 𝗴𝗿𝗼𝘄𝘁𝗵.

But not only that.. failing is also inevitable.

You 𝗰𝗮𝗻 𝗻𝗼𝘁 go through life without failing!

And the beauty about failing? It leads to breakthroughs!

And I get it. It's really freeking hard to just go for something.. to trust it will all work out. It often feels like you're jumping from a miles high cliff with no end in sight!

If you are ready to make this your best year yet, to start taking messy action, to start MOVING instead of being stagnent.. then I'm looking for you!

For years I wanted to find a job that I loved doing..

But the only advice I would get would be:

"just do what you love"

or

"find your passion and the rest will follow!"

But if you're anything like me then this advice is pretty useless.

Because what do you do when you like LOTS of things? What do you go for then?! 🤷

After years of trying to debug this myth I found out that passion is NOT the most important thing when you want to start doing something you love.

Why? Because the feeling of doing something we love originates in how fulfilled we are.

And we get that fulfillment by giving. THAT is our purpose.

So here are 3 questions to get you thinking about your purpose 👇

Who else thought they needed to be officially qualified before they could do anything? 🙋🏼‍♀️

It's something that held me back for a really long time.. And I see so many around me struggling with it.

Besides the fact that we live in a made up world, with made up rules - I mean what does it really mean to have a degree or qualification..?

You'll never learn if you don't start DOING.

I had no coaching experience when I started, untill I asked a friend of mine if I could help him with the same things I struggled with in the form of some free coaching sessions.

It was a trial for the both of us and we knew this. So no expectations.

And that was it! After helping him for free, 3 others followed. And at that point I knew being a coach would be my path.

It's all about getting the ball rolling, the rest will follow. Start taking those steps. Even if it's a small one.

But being stagnent.. is killing.

Often we search way too hard for opportunities that are actually right in front of us 🔥

Just keep in mind that you already ARE something.

It's all about figuring out what that is.
