The Alfa Romeo 55-SGT, created by the SGT Automobili atelier, is a spectacular limited-edition supercar that blends the past and present of the Biscione. This car was born as a modern tribute to the legendary 155 V6 TI that outclassed its rivals in the 1993 DTM championship.

Beneath its incredible bodywork beats the technological heart of the Alfa Romeo Giulia Quadrifoglio, but completely overhauled for pure racing. The original lines of the sedan give way to a two-door body made entirely of fiber carbon. The squared-off wheel arches and aggressive geometries faithfully recall the legendary nineties track ancestor.

Power is delivered by the potent 2.9-liter twin-turbo V6 engine paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. To replicate the historic racing setup, technicians implemented an all-wheel-drive system.

The cabin is stripped down to the essentials, configured with just two bucket seats and dominated by a sturdy roll bar. The overall hand-crafted production of this road monster is limited to just fifty-five highly exclusive units.

Offered at a staggering price of around 500K euros, it represents the ultimate and nostalgic apotheosis for collectors.

La storica salita dell'Alfa Romeo sul Colle della Maddalena è leggenda: nel 1930, Tazio Nuvolari stabilì l'incredibile record imbattuto di 38 minuti e 27 secondi a bordo della sua Alfa Romeo P2, lungo i 65,5 km di sterrato che collegavano Cuneo al valico.
La "Cuneo-Maddalena" è stata una delle gare più dure del periodo anteguerra (1925, 1926, 1927, 1930).

Questo percorso ha visto sfilare i più grandi piloti della casa del Biscione, tra cui Enzo Ferrari e Achille Varzi.
Il valico si trova a 1.996 metri s.l.m., segnando il confine tra la Valle Stura (Cuneo) e il territorio francese.

Beyond all imagination, Ferrari has unveiled this car: the Luce. Over 1,000 horsepower, a top speed of 315 km/h, and the lowest drag coefficient ever achieved for a Maranello road car.

Just as low is the emotional level almost all of us felt when we saw it for the first time. A heartbreak, too much even for us Alfisti. Maybe it'll just take a long time to digest... For now, we can't say it's beautiful, we can't say it's exciting, and it's not even that high-performance, to be honest (other electric sports cars are much faster).

To top it off, there's the price: €550,000 for the base model, which rises to over €700,000 with various options. Meanwhile, Ferrari has lost 8% on the stock market...

Chapeau, we didn't expect such a successful prank! Wait...oh no? It's not a joke?

The Alfa Romeo 147 GTA Autodelta, created by the London-based factory Autodelta International, is one of the craziest hot hatches in history. The legendary 3.2-liter production V6 Busso engine was enlarged to 3.7 liters, adopting Ferrari-derived components and a new ECU. This radical treatment boosted power to a whopping 328 HP and 352 Nm of torque, channeled entirely through the front wheels alone. Capable of burning from 0 to 100 km/h in just 5 seconds, the car reached a top speed of around 280 km/h. To manage this brutal thrust, technicians installed a crucial mechanical limited-slip differential, widened tracks, and ultra-stiff suspension.

Feature of a memorable Top Gear review in 2004, it left host Jeremy Clarkson utterly thunderstruck. The famous journalist compared the impressive acceleration to the Millennium Falcon's hyperdrive, while criticizing the steel-hard ride. The ultimate climax came on the show's test track, where the car was handed over to the expert hands of the mysterious driver, The Stig. To the audience's amazement, the Alfa clocked an incredible lap time of 1 minute and 30 seconds flat. With this time, the compact Italian managed to lap nearly two seconds faster than the highly acclaimed BMW M3 E46. It was an epic slap to the laws of physics at the time, cementing the Autodelta as an unforgettable road monster.

Carlo Chiti was one of the most brilliant and volatile engineers in Italian motorsport history. After his successes at Ferrari, culminating in the 1961 Formula 1 World Championship, Chiti founded Autodelta in 1963, which became Alfa Romeo's legendary official racing department in 1965. Under his technical direction, immortal masterpieces were born, such as the agile GTA (1965) and the award-winning Tipo 33, which dominated the tracks by winning the World Sportscar Championships in 1975 and 1977 thanks to its powerful 12-cylinder engines, also used in Formula 1.

It was precisely in F1, during the 1978/1979 seasons, that a famous anecdote involving **Niki Lauda took place. Exasperated by the Austrian driver's continuous, methodical complaints about the car's oil consumption, Chiti snapped with his trademark Tuscan irony: "Niki, you are a Formula 1 driver, not a Shell accountant! Just focus on driving, we'll take care of the oil!".

Beyond his mechanical genius, which saw him lead Autodelta until 1984, Chiti was famous for his extraordinary humanity and his visceral love for dogs. Inside the Settimo Milanese workshops, his beloved German Shepherds and rescued strays were a constant, untouchable presence, free to roam among top-secret blueprints and disassembled engines. Until his passing in 1994, Chiti proved that behind a mathematical mind dedicated to pure speed beat an immensely large and generous heart.
