I fly out tonight to meet up with Team Iceland then have my first team practice with them on Sunday. I get to meet my bench buddy and everyone else. Some for the first time, some from years ago.

When opportunities come knocking, it is wise to be there to answer the door, or in this case submit a video and hop on an airplane for an opportunity to skate on a national roller derby team (Team Iceland) at an international tournament (European Roller Derby Tournament).
