She was silent for a moment and then said,
I'm creating content.
I'm sending friend requests.
I'm sending DM's.
And even I am chatting to a few.

The picture was crystal clear.

The smiles on their faces.
The results for my mentees.
The courage in the their hearts.
The transformation in their business.

It's a time to share and celebrate the wins.

They all were silent,
When I asked - "What do you want?"
It was a question for clarity and self realization.

After a long pause,
One said - "More clients."
​
Others started opening up.
Second said - "More business."
​
Third said - "More freedom."
​
I realized that,
Majority of the were living in an illusion.
​
My next question was a reality checker.
​
I asked -
"How much time would you devote to get what you want?"
​
This time,
The answers forced me to laugh.
​
One said - 2 hours/day.
Second said - 20 hours/week. ( Almost 3 hours/day).
Third said - 5 hours/day.
Fourth said - Full time.
​
I remembered one movie clip from 'CHAK De INDIA'.
​
When the coach asks to introduce the players,
Everyone said the name of their state, except one,
Which said - I'm Vidya from INDIA.
​
This shows clarity.
​
So, here's what I found:
​
Every coach wants everything,
But a very few want to put the right amount of efforts.
​
I thought a lot on this situation.
I understood that coaches are busy,
But they are wanting to build a business in their available time.
​
For me,
You need to be putting 100% efforts,
If you want to build something big as a business.
​
But,
Not everyone is the same.
​
So,
I created something,
Which I have named 'THE COACHING X EX*****ON LAB'.

Coaches,
Who have learnt a lot,
But still stuck because of lack of implementation and support.

Last year, same day,
I crossed 11 Mn ( 1 crore) ...
I never aimed for it, when I started professionally in 2023 on LinkedIn.

I never followed metrics.
But numbers always excited me.
​
While exploring something yesterday on LinkedIn,
I observed that,
I had crossed some mind boggling numbers the previous year.
​
In the previous 365 days,
​
➱1,11,28,587 impressions.
➱33,41,596 members reached.
​
It has no relevance,
If it doesn't contribute to my business.
​
So, what did it bring to me?
​
→Attention,
​ →Visibility,
​ ​ ​ →Likability,
​ ​ ​ ​ ​ →Lovability,
​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ ​ →Trust.
​
How it added to me and my business ?

But I showed up.
Day after day.
✓80% of the times messy.
✓90% of the times imperfect.
✓100% of times honest.

And

✓That’s what built my brand.

↳Perfection creates pressure.

"Koi kahe paagal, koi deewana"
(Some titled me mad, some crazy).
This line reminds me of a Bollywood song.
​
But,
When it happened in real life,
The joy was fantabulous.
​
Let me share what happened.
​
This independence day, 15th of August,
I did something different inside our paid community of coaches.
​
We celebrated by doing the following:
​
1/ Everyone share the freedom they felt/got after joining my mentorship.
2/ Everyone shared their hidden piece of talent like poem, song, literature.
3/ I conferred a title to each of them based on their achievements.
​
The surprise came after that,
When all of them conferred a title to me, as their mentor.
​
Deepanshu ji said - "The open-heart coach."
Archana ji said - "The best mentor in the world."
Dr. Sunita said - " The sweet-smiling coach."
Ramya Agasthi said - "Mr. Cool."
​
And overall,
All aggregated to - "The open-heart king."
​
It was such a heart-felt moment.
​
My mission of empowering coaches,
To their actual potential feels like happening real.
​
It made me proud of myself.
​
Gratitude to all the coaches who have trusted me,
And growing their businesses with love, care and money.
​

My answer was entirely different from what she had expected.

As usual,
​
I'm hard and blunt with soft words.
​
I told her upfront -
​
"Do not try to convince".
"The more you try to convince, the far they will go."
​
❌ Stop selling your coaching services.
✅ Start making people want to work with you.
​
When most coaches try to sell their programs, it looks like this:
​
→“I’m looking for 5 people to help this month.” (A big sh*t)
→“Special offer - get it at 50% off!” (Come on, whom are you fooling?)
→“Book a 1:1 call with me today.” (Why will someone do this?)
​
Are you doing similar things?
Does it sound familiar?
​
That’s not selling.
That’s begging.
​
This is pushy and makes people run away.
​
What actually works is the opposite:
​
✓Connect and educate your audience around their pain points.
✓Give away free resources that solve one small but real problem.
✓Be consistent in showing up with value and back it up with social proof.
​
When you do this, people don’t feel sold to.
They want to work with you.
They choose you.
​
​
🔥 Selling coaching isn’t about forcing offers into DMs.
It’s about creating so much trust and value that clients chase you.

"What birthday gift you want?" - I asked her.
She answered something different.
You'll not be able to guess.

Today is my wifey's birthday.
​
Last week,
Myself and my two kids were planning for her birthday.
​
I asked her about the gift she wanted.
​
She said something unexpected.
​
She gently said -
​
"Give your mentees a surprise gift on my birthday."
​
I had not expected this.
​
As a husband,
I know her for 26+ years.
She had been fond of jewelries, dresses and long trips.
​
This was like a bouncer to me.
​
Out of curiosity,
I asked - "I'm asking a gift for you. What do you want?"
​
Her explanation was even better than I had expected.
​
She calmly said -
​
"I see your happiness when you take sessions.
I see you being extremely excited when you create something new.
I see you being double happy when your mentees get results.
I see you being sad, when someone get slow in their journey.
I see you thinking more about them and less about me/family."
​
She continued...
​
"Sometimes I feel jealous as well, but it's okay.
So for me,
Your happiness matters the most,
And on my birthday,
I want you be the happiest person."
​
I was speechless.
I was not ready for this.
​
Anyways,
I ordered a beautiful dress for her,
I planned another trip in the coming month,
And planned a surprise session for my mentees on this day.
​
Yes,
Today 14th of August,
I'll be conducting a special session for my paid mentees,
Inside our internal community.
​
We are going to do two things:
​
1/ Celebrating Independence day.
2/ Give some wonderful surprises to my mentees.
​
