Many do not understand the concept of yoga. Some think it is just physical exercise for health, some think it is a religion, and some think it is a psychological system. All this is based on a misunderstanding of yoga. Yoga is simply a relationship that harmonises our mind, body

and souls. The word yoga originated from the root word in Sanskrit yuj, and also comes from the biblical word, yoke. Both mean joining together or to unite. Yoga is the union of an individual consciousness with Infinite Consciousness. A yogi or yogini is a person who leans completely on the Supreme Consciousness, God, or Universal Energy, until they have merged their individual self with the Infinite Self. Yoga means the union between various parts of our physical, intellectual, spiritual and mental being, causing freedom and peace within the self. Yoga is a philosophy that results in liberty from the mentioned fluctuations and stressors. Employing various exercises based on the deep and ancient knowledge of human existence, yoga offers better and higher quality of life, internal and external harmony. Our Goal
Our goal at REVITALIZE YOGA is to present a holistic approach where physical exercises are combined with breathing techniques, relaxation, and meditation. The sums of these practices increase the capacity and potential of human body, mind, and spirit, in preparation for achieving other goals and potentials in life. Physical Exercises
At REVITALIZE YOGA physical exercises start with specific warm up stretches. These practices help release joint and digestive system gases and toxins, which prepare the body for physical exercise or Yoga Asanas. Performing Asanas will help strengthen muscles, joints and bones, and work positively on the internal systems of the body such as the nervous system, endocrine glands, immune and the digestive systems. As a result of such training, the learner benefits from acquiring physical equilibrium and endurance. Breathing Exercises
REVITALIZE YOGA employs breathing exercises that teach the use of maximum capacity of lungs and absorption of vital energies or Prana. As a result, the performance of the respiratory system is improved which in turn will help the lungs, heart and the efficient delivery of enough oxygen to the cells. In addition, the consistent use of correct breathing will help the body to rebuild and becomes much more resilient towards mental distress, anxiety, and many health issues. Yoga philosophy states that the art of controlled breathing will eventually lead to control of the mind. Relaxation Exercise
REVITALIZE YOGA recognizes the importance of relaxation or Savasana, thus following each of these Asanas with few moments of Savasana and at the closure of each session in a more intense manner. Science has shown that ten minutes of this relaxation technique is equivalent to few hours of deep sleep. This will help in excretion of lactic acid build up in muscles, which in turn re-sensitizes the body. Savasana is the experience of total physical, mental and emotional relaxation as a result of realising the relaxing hormones from the endocrine glands which is resulting in calmness, clarity, healing and at last a pleasant happiness. इंदौर की रहने वाली 16 साल की भारती खांडेकर का नाम इन दिनों उनके संघर्ष के कारण काफी सुर्खियों में हैं. इंदौर के एक फुटपाथ पर पली-बढ़ी और स्ट्रीट लाइट में पढ़ी भारती खांडेकर ने अपनी कड़ी मेहनत और संघर्ष के दम पर अपने बेघर परिवार को एक छत दिला दी.
10th क्लास में 68 प्रतिशत अंक लाने वाली यह होनहार छात्रा अब अपने परिवार के साथ इंदौर नगर निगम (IMC) के आवंटित फ्लैट में पहुंच गई है और उसकी आंखों में IAS अधिकारी बनने का सपना पल रहा है.
शहर के भूरी टेकरी क्षेत्र के बहुमंजिला आवासीय परिसर का फ्लैट क्रमांक "C-307" भारती के परिवार का आशियाना है.

सूर्य नमस्कार योगासनों में सर्वश्रेष्ठ है। यह अकेला अभ्यास ही साधक को सम्पूर्ण योग व्यायाम का लाभ पहुंचाने में समर्थ है। इसके अभ्यास से साधक का शरीर निरोग और स्वस्थ होकर तेजस्वी हो जाता है। 'सूर्य नमस्कार' स्त्री, पुरुष, बाल, युवा तथा वृद्धों के लिए भी उपयोगी बताया गया है।
आदित्यस्य नमस्कारन् ये कुर्वन्ति दिने दिने ।
आयुः प्रज्ञा बलम् वीर्यम् तेजस्तेशान् च जायते ॥
(जो लोग प्रतिदिन सूर्य नमस्कार करते हैं, उनकी आयु, प्रज्ञा, बल, वीर्य और तेज बढ़ता है।)

Surya Namaskara is a common sequence of asanas. Its origins lie in India where its large Hindu population worships Surya, the Hindu solar deity. This sequence of movements and asanas can be practised on varying levels of awareness, ranging from that of physical exercise in various styles, to a complete sadhana which incorporates asana, pranayama, mantra and chakra meditation.
