The JKFA is the primary footballing authority in the state of J&K; it conducts all major tournaments and events throughout the state, as well as running various football academies catering to different age groups. The J&K Football Association came into formation in 1964, and in the same year it was granted recognition by J&K State Sports Council, the Apex Advisory Body in Sports & games to J&K an

d was granted Affiliation by Parent Body of Football in the Country i.e The All India Football Federation. From 1964 onwards we qualified to take part in Santosh Trophy and in all other competitions organized by the Parent Body or in any other Competition of the Country. The Football Team of Kashmir did take part in Durand & DCM Tournaments at Delhi from the year 1956, but it was through kind Courtesy, Punjab Football Association, who included this Team, as one of their affiliates as it was a pre requite . formed Kashmir Olympic and Jammu Olympic Associations for Kashmir & Jammu Provinces respectively, who organized all Sports activities at various State & District levels.

A meeting was held on 11-01-2026 at Press Club Jammu regarding upcoming Jammu Gold Cup to be organised by Baba Tours & Travel under supervision of JKFA Jammu wing. All the esteemed members showed their presence and graced the occasion. All the members shared their views and suggestion to make the event a grand sucess. Further the members also discussed about immediate remedial steps to be taken up for revival of football in Jammu Province.
Members JKFA Jammu appreciated and welcomed the contribution of S. Amarjeet Singh Prop. Baba Tours & Travel towards football.
