Over the twenty years in sales, there has been continuous evolution in the way work is done ✔️, businesses are conducted, processes are followed but one ☝️ thing remains unchanged is real updates.
In service industry it matters a lot as the transaction is intangible. Customers want real time, accurate and true updates.
I have personally practiced this and have got fair amount of success in my professional life. In shipping and logistics, we come across various vendors, stakeholders and certain times we do not have control over their conduct of business. But customers are dependent on us and they have full right to know about their shipments 🚚 📦.
A message to all young marketing professionals, be very very truthful to your clients. Give them all the information and the sailing will be smooth. Yes there will be challenges like bad weather, congestion, space crunch but do not shy away from these external factors.
A long term and healthy relationship with client is build only with truthfulness and care.
