2. Consistency in Officiating
Provides clear guidelines on how to interpret and apply rules.
Ensures uniform decisions across different tournaments.
3. Professionalism & Conduct
Sets standards for behavior, dress code, and interactions.
Prevents conflicts with players, coaches, or fans.
Guides handling of disputes and complaints.
4. Player & Spectator Respect
Encourages officials to handle situations calmly.
Ensures communication with players is respectful and clear.
5. Avoiding Conflicts of Interest
Officials must disclose relationships that may affect their neutrality.
Prevents situations where personal interests impact decisions.
6. Health & Safety
Guides officials on handling player injuries and medical timeouts.
